Paul Wiley Roof Finials
I was asked to make my first roof finial (to fit on top of a cupola)
somewhere around 1975. I remember not knowing what a cupola was,
having to look it up in the dictionary. Everyone has to start
somewhere.
We make spheres and other shapes for finials and weathervanes by
other metal artisans, as well as create finished designs, a sampling is
pictured below.
Please call or email with your ideas. We prefer to work from architect's
drawings or digital images.
Finishes include natural copper, satin finish, waxed patinas, and lead
(tin)-coated copper.
